PlexControl
PlexControl is the online spike sorting software for the OmniPlex System, with a flexible, customizable interface for signal visualization and spike waveform classification. It supports box, template, line, and band sorting in time/voltage space, plus contour sorting in PCA feature space, for single electrodes, stereotrodes, and tetrodes.
Spike, field potential, and wide-band signals display together with 2D/3D feature-space clusters for online sorting. All signal types, plus thresholded waveforms and digital events, can be recorded to disk per channel.
Highlighted Features
OmniPlex Server
The OmniPlex Server is the engine under PlexControl. It acquires data from the chassis and amplifiers, sends commands to hardware, and runs the digital signal processing for filtering, spike detection, and sorting, built on a modular dataflow topology with a setup wizard for custom configurations.
It's compatible with Plexon's MATLAB® and C/C++ SDKs and the NeuroExplorer® online link for closed-loop experiments, plus the PlexNet protocol for remote data access and PlexUtil for modifying output files.
