Recorder is Plexon's entry-level data acquisition platform, built for labs that want a simple, dependable way to record and visualize electrophysiology data. Recorder pairs with standard electrodes and headstages, giving you a clean recording and monitoring workflow without the overhead of real-time spike sorting.

Recorder is also the foundation platform behind Recorder-S: pair Recorder with a SiNAPS active pixel sensor probe, and it becomes Recorder-S, Plexon's entry point into high-density SiNAPS recording. On its own, Recorder is built for labs running standard extracellular electrodes who want an easy, low-friction acquisition system.

Like the rest of Plexon's recording systems, Recorder samples at 40kHz per channel, giving you a high-resolution view of your signal as it comes in.
