Electrophysiology

OmniPlex® Neural Recording Data Acquisition System is Plexon’s flagship electrophysiology (a.k.a. ephys) research system. This system combines front-end amplification and acquisition with intuitive and powerful control and visualization software.

The New DataLogger system is an untethered, battery powered neural recording system that allows wideband continuous recording at 40 kHz sampling rate. The DataLogger system consists of the Base unit, a 32 channel headstage, an infrared emitter, and the BaseControl software.

Plexon offers a suite of customizable specialty electrodes, probes and micro electrode arrays for various research needs. Many of our neural probes offer the combination of both neural stimulation and recording.

Plexon Inc and Corticale have partnered to offer SiNAPS , an implantable active pixel sensor CMOS-probe for simultaneous large-scale neural recordings. These small-area, ultra low-power active implantable devices enable high-resolution brain activity recordings with the highest electrode array density and minimal wiring available on the market.
