DALLAS, TX — (July 10, 2012) – Plexon Inc, the leader in advanced hardware and software solutions for neuroscience research, announced today that the newest software upgrade – release v1.6.0 – for its flagship OmniPlex® Neural Data Acquisition System is now available online.
This release is significant with many feature additions and improvements, as well as several bug fixes all in a single upgrade. A few new features include support for 32 channel auxiliary analog input card, per-16-channels control of DigiAmp referencing, support for interpolation in the main display for stereotrodes and tetrodes, and more pre-established topology (pxs) files for common system configurations. Enhanced features include improved behavior of trodal thresholding, improved behavior of band sorting and editing at high magnification, better scaling of the template-fit tolerance slider, and an improved installer among others.
To access the complete upgrade instructions, unzip the installation files for your computer platform (Windows® 7 or Windows XP) and read the Adobe Acrobat file titled “AAA-FIRST, READ ME”.
