JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

A Postdoctoral position is available at The Pennsylvania State University to work at the interface of neuroscience, addiction, and mood disorders, under the supervision of Dr. Nikki Crowley. Using cutting edge in vivo and ex vivo techniques, we study the neurocircuitry underlying these and related neuropsychiatric conditions, with a particular emphasis on peptidergic transmission.

Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biology, Psychology, or a closely related field. Experience with experimental animal models is desired, with a theoretical background in electrophysiology (hands on experience not required but desired)

This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire, with excellent possibility of refunding.
