Digital Headstage Processor (DHP) and Digital Headstages
June 23, 2014

DALLAS, TX — (June 23, 2014) – Plexon Inc, the leader in advanced hardware and software solutions for neuroscience and behavioral research, provides the first glimpse of its pre-launch Digital Headstage Processor (DHP) and accompanying Digital Headstages at the 41st Neural Interfaces Conference (NIC) held in Dallas, Texas. The new components are designed for use with Plexon’s flagship OmniPlex® hardware and software. Combined they offer an especially full featured, efficient and economical solution for electrophysiology research laboratories – especially at higher channel counts.

The OmniPlex System using the new DHP and digital headstages offers electrical isolation, simultaneous sampling at 40kHz and correction for possible phase shifts – unlike other digital headstage based systems – for up to 256 channel systems. Digital headstages are available in 16 and 32 channels weighing 1.0g or less – making them some of the lightest weight digital headstages for these channel counts on the market.
