CereStage™ 96 Channel Headstage for Use with the Utah Array
May 16, 2013
DALLAS, TX — (May 16, 2013) – Plexon Inc, the leader in advanced hardware and software solutions for neuroscience and behavioral research, announces the launch of the new CereStage™ 96 channel headstage amplifier (CereStage 96) enabling communication between the Utah Array multichannel, high-density electrode and Plexon’s OmniPlex® and Neural Data Acquisition Systems and Multichannel Acquisition Processor (MAP) Neural Data Acquisition System.
The CereStage 96 is a unity gain headstage and is specifically designed to work with the Utah Array utilizing the ICS style connector. It features two reference inputs as well as buffered ground outputs that can be used in place of the electrode reference signals. The CereStage 96 is a significant improvement over the previous solution in size and simplicity and offers a much more secure connection.
In addition to the development of the CereStage 96, the accompanying accessories which include the CereStage 96 Headstage Tester Unit and specialty headstage cables have been released and are available.
