Photometry Change Log Questions or problems? Contact support@plexon.com Version 1.3.0.1 (01/25/2024) New Features: ------------- - Release supports operation on both new and old (obsolete) hardware of Plexon Multi-Wavelength Photometry. Version 1.2.0.14 (09/30/2022) New Features: ------------- + Highlighting in pink experiments recorded with Brightness = 0 (in the Experiments Tab). + Storing software version for all experiments and sessions. + Showing software version used to create each experiment in the "Sft" column of the Experiments Tab. + Not showing time when each experiment has been created (to save room in the Experiments Tab). + All experiments are readable between versions 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2, no matter which software version has been used to create them. Improvements: ------------- + Larger font for X and Y axis in Photometry graphs, for better visibility. + If experiment folder contains experiments created by Plexon CineLyzer or obsolete one-wavelength photometry software - these experiments will be ignored. These experiments are not shown in the experiments list of 1.2 version, and the software will give a corresponding message. + Improved auto min/max computations for fiber Heat Maps to prevent their visualizations from "freezing" after starting/stopping stimulation. Bug Fixes: ---------- + Due to a mistake, capturing photometry signal at cameras brightness = 0, was in version 1.1. It resulted in the raw data signal being around value 1, when Stimulation is OFF. In PHT ver 1.0 (non-zero brightness) raw signal typically varies around 14-15 when Stimulation is OFF. Fixed now. Photometry cameras operate at the same non-zero brightness as version 1.0. + In Cameras mode, it was possible to delete fibers in the experiments with recorded sessions. Fixed now. + When starting recording in Cameras mode, computations for Global combination events were not properly initialized. This sometimes resulted in negative values for time values for these events. Fixed now. Version 1.1.0.13 (05/24/20222) New Features: ------------- + New LED test mode. It allows to meeasure output power for each LED and adjust the bundle position relative the output beam. One camera and LED in constant mode at a time; + Possibility to delete sessions from experiments added. Improvements: ------------- + Crashes happening on some computers when second photometry camera is not connected. Now, when PHT Camera 1, PHT Camera 2, or behavioral camera are not connected, there will be a corresponding message before the software starts. Then the software switches to File mode. It is impossible to switch to the Camera mode until all three cameras are connected. Bug Fixes: ---------- + Sometimes the very last row for UV in the extracted data for all wavelength is not placed correctly and creates an effect of uneven number of rows for different wavelengths. Fixed. + “Add” for behavioral zone was enabled for a new experiment created in File mode (right after creating it), while Area has not been created yet. Pressing “Add zone” button would naturally cause a crash. Fixed now – Add Zone is not enabled until arena is added. + If Add Zone button is clicked while drawing an arena or zone with the polygon tool (before the polygon drawing is finished by right mouse click), the software crashes. Fixed. All scene functions are grayed out until right mouse click to close the polygon and finish its drawing. + “Tracking” tool bar in the video view not showing in File mode. Fixed now. + Session comment wasn't saved. Fixed now. + UV LED pulsing in Test Mode instead of being steady. Fixed. + Very slow switching between Camera mode and File mode; between File/Analyze and File/View Sessions As Recorded. Fixed. + A number of minor bugs related to the GUI improvements and adjustments. For example proper tooltips for Add/Remove eventss buttons, photometry thresholds, etc. Version 1.0.1 (06/03/2021) New Features: ------------- + No new features. Improvements: ------------- + Fibers can be added/deleted only for the newly created experiment or existing experiment with no recorded sessions. Data analysis will be added in the next versions, and it is essential to have the same number of fibers within the experiment for this purpose. + If an experiment folder has been renamed outside of the software it becomes unusable. An option to change experiment naming properly in such situation has been added. The question how to rename pops-up when starting the software and it reads current working folder or when you try to change the working folder. You can choose not to show this dialog anymore. It can be re-enabled under Experiment Options dialog. Bug Fixes: ---------- + Incorrect labeling of exported photometry data in certain cases. For example, if fibers F1 and F3 are defined, columns in the exported file were labeled as corresponding to fibres F1 anf F2, instead of F1 and F3. Was: RawF_465_F1, F0_465_F1, R_465_F1, RawF_465_F2, F0_465_F2, R_465_F2, ... Should be: RawF_465_F1, F0_465_F1, R_465_F1, RawF_465_F3, F0_465_F3, R_465_F3, ... + Crashes happening sometimes while playing sessions in File mode. + "Frozen" visualization of heatmaps when playing sessions in File mode.
