Version 3.6.0 11/13/2015 ======================== ************* CinePlex Studio New Features ------------ 1. Fix for 1 MHz timestamp option added to OmniPlex 1.14. 2. Fix for the OmniPlex 1.14 license key with configuration above 128 channels to be recognized as valid. 3. Improved algorithm for position detection , so when the object is stopped the trajectory length doesn't increase because of jitter. Minor Changes ------------- 1. Increased missing clock timeout from 10 s up to 30s. Bug fixes --------- Several minor changes have been also made to correct small errors, resulting from internal testing of this and prior releases. There are no unfixed externally reported bugs. ************* CinePlex Editor New Features ------------ No new features. Minor Changes ------------- No minor changes Bug fixes --------- No bug fixes. Version 3.5.0 5/5/2014 ======================== Includes bug fixes and several new capabilities, including Point Grey Firefly cameras, offline freezing detection, and a revised user guide. ************* CinePlex Studio New Features ------------ 1. Calibration in one or two dimensions is supported for each camera/file, not just for camera/file #1. 2. Speed measurements and events are supported for each camera/file, not just for camera/file #1. 3. Two more calibration grids of larger sizes have been added to the 3D calibration function allowing calibration of fields of view up to 9 ft. x 9 ft (3 m. x 3 m.). 4. Added support for CinePlex V2 modes of operation along with the Plexon MAP. It is enabled by standrad CPX V2 licensing. CinePlex and MAP operate on two separate computers, but their time stamps and recording are synchronized. USB2 PTGrey cameras (VGA resolution, 10 to 60 fps) are supported in this mode. Color tracking is increased from three to five colors. 5. Studio now reads MJPEG video files with either ‘mjpg’ or ‘ffds' signatures in Offline mode. 6. Studio can read MJPEG files of varying resolutions if both frame width and frame height are a multiple of 16. 7. Extended color tracking has been implemented and is available as the preferred option over basic color tracking. 8. Entering and Exiting Zone events are now true only for the video frame in which they occur. If the user wishes to determine the total time an object is present within or absent from a zone, both the entering and exiting events must be defined and the difference between them computed. 9. [Plexon Internal Only] The PCI Express version of the AccesIO DIO card is now supported if the latest AccesIO drivers are installed. There is one remaining issue concerning double clocks when operating in CPX V2 mode. Minor Changes ------------- 1. The designated Recording folder is now included in settings files, and is restored when a saved settings file is loaded. 2. Selecting Factory default settings resets the Recording folder to c:\PlexonData or D:\PlexonData (if disk D is available). 3. The threshold at which recording is automatically stopped has been increased to 10 Gigabytes. 4. The functionality previously referred to as "Areas" is now referred to as "Scenes" to more clearly define the intent for Plexon arenas and zones - they help set the scene. 5. In File mode, extracted data files are now contain headers and comma seperated variables. They are saved as file type CSV, so they can be read directly into Microsoft Excel or similar tools. Bug fixes --------- 1. If online Studio exits abnormally, there is no need to restart the computer before Studio to recognizes and honors remote Start/Stop/Pause signals from OmniPlex. The fix for this is in the AccesIO drivers, so the new versions must be installed. 2. Speed event can now be set up and operates correctly in object contour mode. 3. Studio can now be used with video monitors whose resolution is less than 1280 horizontal and/or 960 vertical. Approximately 140 minor changes have been also made to correct small errors, typos, usability issues, and other items resulting from internal testing of this and prior releases. There are no unfixed externally reported bugs. ************* CinePlex Editor New Features ------------ 1. Freezing detection is added. The freezing user interface is available from the Tools dropdown. The user can average the motion measure, set the freezing threshold, span gaps if wanted, then generate markers around the freezing episodes that result. Multiple sets of detected episodes can be created with varying parameters, reviewed, modified if needed, and saved for future use in the CPJ Project file. Minor Changes ------------- 1. Cosmetic GUI changes to improve data visualization and appearance. 2. When a saved CPJ project file is opened, Editor will look for the subject AVI and PLX files first in the folder where the CPJ resides, then in their orginal locations. So, if the CPJ, PLX, and AVI files are all kept in the same folder, there is no need to search for the AVI or PLX files once the CPJ has been opened. Bug fixes --------- 1. Visualization of intervals computed using Motion Measure values is fixed (the last interval wasn't showing sometimes). Approximately 15 minor changes have been also made to correct small errors, typos, usability issues, and other items resulting from internal testing of this and prior releases. A customer-reported issue that causes CinePlex Editor to become unresponsive when it tries to play a large number of event sounds simultaneously remains in this build. It will be fixed in CinePlex Editor 3.6. There are no other unfixed externally reported bugs. ************* CinePlex Guide New Features ------------ Updated Version for CinePlex/OmniPlex operation.
