The Kravitz lab is hiring a full-time research associate to start in the spring/summer of 2021. The primary research question this position will address involve understanding individual variability in rodent feeding behavior and how this relates to obesity. To this end, this position will assist with feeding and obesity studies, including optimizing and deploying an online “Internet-of-Things” system to record large-scale behavioral data. Example of data collected with this system can be found here: Qualified candidates should be interested in animal behavior and physiology, 3D printing, coding, and electronics, but do not need extensive experience in these, we are happy to train the right person. The position is ideal for someone who wants 1-2 years of research experience in preparation for applying to graduate school.
