Frontiers in Neurophotonics Summer School

June 12 - June 22

The 2022 Frontiers in Neurophotonics Summer School is the 15th Edition of a unique and much appreciated neurophotonics course. This ten day training combines tutorials given by experts in photonics and neuroscience and hands-on experiments involving advanced optical approaches to measure, manipulate, and follow molecular events in living neurons.

Topics:

  • Ca2+ imaging in freely behaving mice
  • Video-rate multimodal imaging in vivo
  • Fluorescence lifetime microscopy
  • Two-photon calcium imaging in vivo
  • Optical microprobe applications in vivo
  • Super-resolution microscopy
  • Quantitative phase imaging
  • Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Scattering microscopy
  • Brain clearing and fast volumetric methods for whole brain imaging
  • Photostimulation approaches
